Earlier today the Fight for Freedom team drove over the border for the third time with 20 vans full of aid and met other trucks in the Ukrainian city of Cernăuți. Tonight these trucks are taking the donated aid to trapped Kyiv residents, where contacts tell them serious hunger has begun.These extra trucks and the transportation logistics taking aid deeper into Ukraine is being provided by a Kyiv-based Baptist church.

Border authorities also granted the Fight for Freedom an escort and special access to warehouses in Ukraine. There they can unload the aid (food, water, blankets, medicines etc.) – some of this aid has been donated by the local Romanian community and other items purchased thanks to funds from our donors.
