Throughout the night refugee families have been arriving at Fight for Freedom’s two shelters in the Suceava region. In a state of extreme exhaustion these mothers were fleeing an area of Ukraine that was under direct attack. They spent an entire day waiting at the border with their children attempting to cross. Tonight they are in the safety and warmth of the Freedom House.
Earlier TVR, a Romanian national TV station, sent a crew out to report on Fight for Freedom’s response and help highlight the need for essential supplies. Currently translators are a huge need, with English being used to communicate between the Romanian team and Ukrainian families.
