On the morning of Thursday February 24th, one of our Romanian partners – Urspack with their Fight for Freedom foundation mobilized Romanian volunteers in an immediate response to the refugee crisis emerging on the Romania/Ukraine border.
Urspack’s factory is just 40 minutes from the border where convoys of vehicles carrying Ukrainian refugees stretch for miles and are now attempting to cross into Romania. The Urspack/Fight for Freedom volunteers are already on the ground distributing food and drinking water. In response to a border official’s request, Urspack/Fight for Freedom are now preparing to house up to 300 refugees in their Freedom House residential facility, and a volunteer army of local construction tradesmen have stepped up to help.
By the evening the first families arrived at the Freedom House, and more will be following in the next few days.
The Urspack/Fight for Freedom team head to the Ukraine/Romania border to help, and the first family arrives at their Freedom House for shelter.
Infused Impact is partnering with Urspack to raise the funds needed to finalize the Freedom House room renovations, and provide food, shelter and ongoing support for as many Ukrainian refugees as possible.
Please join us by donating to our Charitable Fund.
On behalf of the Urspack and Fight for Freedom teams, thank you for your support.
